We were gone for about 2 weeks to see family. This first picture was taken on July 7: my nice, organized, methodically planned garden.
When we returned on August 11, we saw that the monsoon rains had taken things in to their own hands! My herbs are out of control, everything has fruited, and the cucumbers (the vine) are taking over! I'm definitely not complaining.
This normally boring plant bloomed during the rains and produced gorgeous purple flowers.
