In this picture, Taylor and I are waiting in line with Jane to cross back into the USA. Leaving Mexico the previous night took us only a few minutes, but on Saturday afternoon it took over an hour. All we had to say to the guard was "US Citizen," and they let us through. As we exited, Jane said, "That was what's known as racial profiling, or common sense!" So true! The female guard literally looked all three of us up and down and then cleared us for crossing, without asking for licenses or anything.
