Winter Garden

I've done it - I've started my winter garden. It's a bit weird right now; I keep forgetting that it's technically fall because it is still 100 degrees here! Next week it is supposed to finally cool down; October usually signals a big drop in the temperature. In the meantime, I've planted a few more herbs. I've also planted swiss chard, romaine, and spinach (the biggest seedlings you see); and beets, mesclun greens, broccoli, carrots, peas, and leeks. Everything (whether or not you can see it) has sprouted. Stay tuned!
