Guess what...we got a dog!! She's kind of on loan to us for the week, but she's so sweet; it will be hard to give her back! Here's the story: Taylor has this thing for Welsh Corgis, and he convinced me that I would, too. We'd been fawning over pictures of Corgi puppies, and we found a breeder in Phoenix. We decided to go visit them to see what the dogs were like. We loved them! They're very social, spunky dogs. The next litter won't be ready until the summer, but the breeder had a four-year-old dog named Hallie that she very much wanted to find a good home for. She had turned away several people that wanted her but really wanted us to take her! We talked about it and decided to take her for a week to see how it goes. She is sweetest dog; she loves to cuddle and be close to us. Taylor is her little buddy :) She's also house-trained and completely out of any puppy stages, which is really nice. She slept well through the night last night and seems to be adjusting well. We'll see what happens...but she's a keeper! Her only downside is that she sheds a lot.


She's a little overweight for a Corgi, as you might be able to tell from this picture. That's why Taylor likes her :)
