GROSS!! So Taylor and I were coming home from small group the other night, around 9:45pm, and I suddenly saw this creature on our doorjamb. It was HUGE!! I, of course, did what any thinking person would do and screeched for Taylor to stop opening our door and kill this bug!! So he threw a large rock at it, about the size of two fists. It died :) I found out later that it's called a Palo Verde beetle, and they're harmless. But they're not harmless to look at!
